Eugenics and the Nazis -- the California connection
by Edwin Black

Hitler and his henchmen victimized an entire continent and exterminated millions in his quest for a so-called Master Race.
But the concept of a white, blond-haired, blue-eyed master Nordic race didn't originate with Hitler. The idea was created in the United States, and cultivated in California, decades before Hitler came to power. California eugenicists played an important, although little-known, role in the American eugenics movement's campaign for ethnic cleansing.
Eugenics was the pseudoscience aimed at "improving" the human race. In its extreme, racist form, this meant wiping away all human beings deemed "unfit," preserving only those who conformed to a Nordic stereotype. Elements of the philosophy were enshrined as national policy by forced sterilization and segregation laws, as well as marriage restrictions, enacted in 27 states. In 1909, California became the third state to adopt such laws. Ultimately, eugenics practitioners coercively sterilized some 60,000 Americans, barred the marriage of thousands, forcibly segregated thousands in "colonies," and persecuted untold numbers in ways we are just learning. Before World War II, nearly half of coercive sterilizations were done in California, and even after the war, the state accounted for a third of all such surgeries.
California was considered an epicenter of the American eugenics movement. During the 20th century's first decades, California's eugenicists included potent but little-known race scientists, such as Army venereal disease specialist Dr. Paul Popenoe, citrus magnate Paul Gosney, Sacramento banker Charles Goethe, as well as members of the California state Board of Charities and Corrections and the University of California Board of Regents.
Eugenics would have been so much bizarre parlor talk had it not been for extensive financing by corporate philanthropies, specifically the Carnegie Institution, the Rockefeller Foundation and the Harriman railroad fortune. They were all in league with some of America's most respected scientists from such prestigious universities as Stanford, Yale, Harvard and Princeton. These academicians espoused race theory and race science, and then faked and twisted data to serve eugenics' racist aims.

Top Generals Nominated for New Positions Must Now Meet With Trump

Something else important missing from my news feed:
Top Generals Nominated for New Positions Must Now Meet With Trump
The move is a departure from past practice and has raised worries that it could lead to the politicization of the militarys top ranks.
Some Pentagon officials said the requirement that four-star nominees meet with President Trump, initiated at Defense Secretary Pete Hegseths request, had slowed down the promotion process.

The New York Times, July 29, 2025
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has begun requiring that nominees for four-star-general positions meet with President Trump before their nominations are finalized, in a departure from past practice, said three current and former U.S. officials.
The move, though within Mr. Trumps remit as commander in chief, has raised worries about the possible politicization of the militarys top ranks by a president who has regularly flouted norms intended to insulate the military from partisan disputes.
The president has long had a fixation with the military. During his first term, Mr. Trump chose three military generals for top civilian roles in his administration; he repeatedly referred to the Pentagons military leaders as my generals.
Over the last four years, Mr. Trump has excoriated some former officers, such as the retired Gen. Mark A. Milley. After Mr. Trump chose General Milley to be his chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, he repeatedly accused him of disloyalty and later suggested that he had committed treason and that the punishment should be execution.

Bill Barr assigned psycho killer cop as Epstein's first cell mate.
Nicholas Tartaglione, Jeffrey Epsteins first cellmate, is a hulking ex-cop-cum drug dealer then-charged, now convicted, quadruple murderer. For some reason no one in authority found confusing, Epstein said he didn't appreciate it when he woke up to find the killer ex-cop's muscle-y hands around his neck.
To be fair, Tartaglione denied making the marks on Epsteins neck when the presidents friend was found unresponsive in his cell the first time. Barrs DoJ was surprised to hear the news and moved Tartaglione to another cell.
Perhaps this under-reported story is why many today think Epstein tried to kill himself.

The assignment of a violent psychopath as a cell-mate makes one wonder if Barr really had Epsteins safety in mind. Otherwise, somebodies high up in the MAGANAZIGOP might have wanted to shut Epstein up permanently before there had been a trial, let alone a conviction.
Recently, Tartaglione told Rupert Murdochs New York Post that Epstein confided in him that the Feds offered Epstein a deal in exchange for dirt on Donnie Dipshit. Tartaglione added that Epstein told the Feds he barely knew Trump, that they didnt like each other, but Dipshit was nice to females, and that he knew nothing about Trumps politics. Right-o.

The Twin Loves of Pruneface

Pruneface shakes with young Bill Barr. His dad, Donald Barr, hired college drop-out Jeffrey Epstein to teach at the Dalton School.

Pruneface shakes with young John Roberts. He and his co-conspirators have shredded the US Constitution and more on behalf of Epstein's best friend, Donald J Trump. Worst, yet, he has no plans to quit doing so any time soon.
The Honorable Coleman A. Young called Ronald Reagan, "Pruneface," after the Dick Tracey villain, back in the '70s.
The late Mayor of Detroit, a great Democrat, a union member, a Black US Army officer in World War II, absolutely pegged Reagan and his loves who haunt us in the present day.

For the record: Pruneface was a NAZI. And so are Trump and the two loves of Pruneface who keep him Pee-resident.
When the United States gives its word, it must stand by it.
USG certainly doesn't stand behind it all the time, ask Red Cloud:
"They made us many promises, more than I can remember, but they kept but one. They promised to take our land, and they took it."
Trump just pardoned a mass murderer.
